During Spring Training, MLB.com beat writers surveyed their clubhouses, asking players for their opinions on a range of topics. Well over 100 players participated, in exchange for anonymity. In the leadup to the Opening Day, MLB.com is publishing a series of stories based on the results of that survey.
Today’s topic: Who's the most stylish player?
It all starts with the look.
To paraphrase multi-sport star, nine-year Major Leaguer and noted poet Deion Sanders, if you look good, you feel good, and if you feel good, you play good.
Following that axiom, it makes sense that the big leaguers who are considered the most fashion-forward are also some of the very best players in the sport.
Here are the five most stylish players in the Majors, according to their peers.
1. Francisco Lindor, Mets
From head to toe, Lindor brings so much swag to the game. And how many players do you see rocking a Gucci glove on the diamond?
"Frankie's got some fits, man," said a National League outfielder.

2. Ronald Acuña Jr., Braves
The reigning National League MVP's chain game is on point. He's got his son following in his footsteps, too.
"He just seems to have a lot of flair," an American League outfielder said of the Braves' superstar.
It's always interesting to see what Acuña is wearing. And a lot of fans are wearing Acuña; he had the second-most popular MLB jersey last year.

3. Mookie Betts, Dodgers
There may be no player who owns the MLB All-Star Game Red Carpet better than Betts. He went sans shirt in 2019. He looked Southern-California cool with his outfit, complete with a fedora, in 2022, Last year, Betts totally pulled off a look centered around a multi-colored jacket and penny loafers.

4. Fernando Tatis Jr., Padres
The man known as El Niño has taken the baseball world by storm with some of his fire fits. Who could forget his silk pink suit from 2021, with his nickname stitched into the lining of the jacket? The 2023 Gold Glover looks smooth on and off the field.

5. Marcus Stroman, Yankees
"Everyone's got their own style, but he's got it all," an NL outfielder said of Stroman.
The two-time All-Star knows a lot about style. In 2015, he launched an apparel company named HDMH, an initialism of Stroman's motto: height doesn't measure heart. The 5-foot-7 pitcher also has his own brand of cleats, and those have ended up on the feet of other Major Leaguers.
