MLB The Show 22 has been enjoyed by many since it launched in early April. But all of those hours of gameplay can be considered a kind of Spring Training when compared to what awaits the game’s most avid fans and best players: The MLB The Show 22 Summer Circuit.
The Summer Circuit allows players to test their skills and compete for chances to win thousands of dollars or millions of MLB The Show 22 Stubs. The first of four Summer Circuit qualifiers, which are open to all players ages 13 and up in the U.S. and Canada, across all PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch platforms, will take place on May 21-22.
Here is the Summer Circuit qualifiers schedule:
Qualifier 1: May 21-22
Qualifier 2: May 28-29
Qualifier 3: June 4-5
Qualifier 4: June 11-12

On the first day of each qualifier, all players will compete in a tournament with an open-ladder format. Competitors can queue up at any time within an eight-hour window, but they must complete six three-inning games for their score to count. Each win earns a player one point while each loss costs a player one point. The top 64 players (plus ties) will move on to Day 2.
On the second day, those top 64 players (plus ties) will compete in a single-elimination bracket, playing nine-inning games.
The top 16 players from each qualifier will advance to the Grand Finals. Those who don’t place in the top 16 on their first entry can try again in any of the remaining qualifiers.
Here is the list of prizes available in each qualifier:
First place: 1,050,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
Second place: 600,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
3rd-4th place: 300,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
5th-8th place: 150,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
9th-16th place: 67,500 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
17th-32nd place: 24,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
33rd-64th place: 11,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
All players who finish the minimum number of games (six) will receive 11,000 Stubs. Each of the 64 players who advance to Day 2 will receive another 11,000 stubs.
The Grand Finals will take place from June 18-19, when the top 16 players from each of the four qualifiers, 64 players in all, will compete in a single-elimination, bracket-style tournament. By the end of Day 1, the field of 64 will be reduced to four players.
On Day 2, watch the final four competitors play on the San Diego Studio Twitch channel. The winner will take home $15,000. The top 3 finishers will also win a signed Shohei Ohtani jersey and baseball set, a gift voucher to the MLB Shop and an authentic baseball used in the 2022 MLB Home Run Derby.
