Triple-A Nashville used four pitchers to throw a combined no-hitter against Omaha on Wednesday night, as Chris Smith, Sean Doolittle, Tucker Healy and Simon Castro teamed up to record the Sounds' first no-no in a decade.
Smith (4-2) worked the first six innings en route to his second straight scoreless start. The 36-year-old veteran right-hander walked two and struck out four before giving way to left-hander Sean Doolittle, who struck out a pair and needed just 12 pitches to complete a perfect seventh inning in his third rehab appearance with the Sounds.

Healy, 26, took over in the eighth inning and promptly retired the side in order. It was his 17th appearance this season, during which he's posted a 1.59 ERA in 22 2/3 frames.
Castro made things interesting in the ninth inning by yielding two hard-hit balls that landed just foul down the left-field line and then issuing a two-out walk.

However, the 29-year-old righty managed to hold things together, as he induced a groundout from Jorge Soler to seal the seventh no-hitter in Sounds history, and the first since Manny Parra's perfect game against Round Rock in 2007.
