After his historic season in 2025, Cal Raleigh is already having some fun in 2026.

The Mariners’ superstar catcher starred in a team-produced short under the alias “Hal Baleigh,” searching for a way to find more pitches to hit this year. Now, the man with one of the best nicknames in sports is also the subject of an awesome, signature hat.

New Balance partnered with Raleigh to produce a snapback cap that reads “When it rains, it dumps” across the front. The '47 brand hat is already sold out on New Balance’s website. It was listed for $39.99. New Balance and Raleigh also teamed up on a pretty awesome ad for the product, which they posted on Instagram.

“Big Dumper” made it rain plenty in 2025, smashing a record 60 home runs. That number was the most in Mariners history, the most by a switch-hitter and the most by a primary catcher.

Raleigh finished just behind Aaron Judge for the AL MVP Award in 2025, receiving 13 first-place votes to Judge’s 17. The 2024 Gold Glove and Platinum Glove winner earned his first All-Star appearance last year.
