CHICAGO -- The Giants and Cubs have announced their starting lineups for Game 2 of the National League Division Series at Wrigley Field at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday on MLB Network.
The Giants returned two regulars to their Game 2 lineup, slotting center fielder Denard Span back into the leadoff spot and second baseman Joe Panik into the eight hole against Cubs right-hander -- and Major League ERA champ - Kyle Hendricks.

Span and Panik spent Game 1 on the bench as manager Bruce Bochy played the platoon matchups with center fielder Gorkys Hernández and second baseman Kelby Tomlinson against lefty Jon Lester.
The Giants have not seen much of Hendricks, who baffled opponents all year even without a high-octane fastball; no San Francisco hitter has more than nine plate appearances against the right-hander. Brandon Belt has been the most successful in that limited sample, going 3-for-7 with a homer and a triple. Hunter Pence is 2-for-2 with a walk against Hendricks.
Buster Posey is 2-for-8 with a double and a walk in the matchup, while Span is 2-for-9 with two strikeouts. Panik is 2-for-3 with a double, and Ángel Pagán has been held hitless in five at-bats.
Third baseman Eduardo Núñez, who pinch-hit against Aroldis Chapman in the ninth inning on Friday night, remained out of the lineup in favor of Conor Gillaspie. Nunez has been hampered the last two weeks by a strained right hamstring.
Cubs rookie catcher Willson Contreras will start opposite batterymate Hendricks on Saturday, but the rest of Chicago's lineup is the same as Game 1, with Dexter Fowler leading off and playing center, followed by third baseman Kris Bryant, first baseman Anthony Rizzo, left fielder Ben Zobrist, shortstop Addison Russell, right fielder Jason Heyward, second baseman Javier Báez, Contreras and Hendricks.
Contreras, who has made 41 starts at catcher, has worked well with the right-hander.
"It was amazing with Willson, really," Hendricks said of the rookie. "By my third or fourth start we were really clicking on the same page and had the same game plan going. He knew what I wanted to throw and when. I feel like we have a really good rapport body-language wise, kind of knowing what to feel from each other and when."
Baez, who was the Game 1 hero after hitting a solo homer with one out in the eighth for a 1-0 Cubs win, remains in the lineup at second. He made 38 starts at second base in the regular season and has often been inserted wherever they feel the need for strongest defense.
