DENVER -- The Dodgers claimed left-hander P.J. Conlon from the Mets on Saturday and assigned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
To make room, the Dodgers transferred lefty Hyun Jin Ryu to the 60-day disabled list. Ryu landed on the 10-day DL on May 3 with a left groin strain that is expected to keep him sidelined past the All-Star break.
Ryu is one of four Dodgers starters on the DL, along with Clayton Kershaw, Rich Hill and Kenta Maeda.
The Irish-born Conlon, a 13th-round pick in the 2015 Draft from the University of San Diego, made his Major League debut with the Mets on May 7. In two starts, he allowed seven runs on 12 hits in 5 2/3 innings before being designated for assignment.
