The newly renovated Gallagher Square will also be unveiled during a special ribbon cutting ceremony earlier in the day prior to opening to fans during FanFest. Admission to Padres FanFest is free, with fans required to redeem digital tickets at www.padres.com/FanFest. Tickets for FanFest will be available to claim on Friday, February 16 with Padres Season Ticket Members enjoying priority access before the general public. Padres text message subscribers will also have FanFest presale access and can register by texting PADRES to 78469. Fans may claim up to four (4) complimentary tickets which will appear in their MLB Ballpark app by Monday, March 18.

Gates for FanFest will open to the general public at 12:30 p.m., with Padres Members receiving early entry beginning at 12:00 p.m. Parking is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis in neighboring Padres-controlled lots, including the Lexus Premier Lot, Tailgate Lot and Padres Parkade, with spaces expected to fill quickly.

FanFest will serve as the first opportunity for fans to experience the completely transformed Gallagher Square. To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Petco Park in 2024, the Padres renovated Gallagher Square to provide fans with improved and expanded amenities, including the new Tony Gwynn Terrace that offers elevated sightlines into the playing field. The iconic Mr. Padre Tony Gwynn statue will make its debut in its new location atop the Tony Gwynn Terrace allowing for greater visibility of the statue throughout the ballpark and direct alignment with the statue of his teammate and fellow Hall-of-Famer Trevor Hoffman. Fans who recently purchased a Legacy Brick or previously had a brick located by the Tony Gwynn statue will be able to view their engraved brick within the terrace. Fans can enter Gallagher Square through the expanded and improved Balboa Gate and walk through the new Tony Gwynn Tunnel located beneath his statue to see and hear all about the amazing life and career of Mr. Padre. As part of the festivities, the new and improved Play Ball Field will be activated all day with Padres alumni participating in different youth clinics throughout the event. Kids can enjoy the expanded and renovated playground presented by Nuna, and the PawSquad will also be on hand at the all-new dog park. A new, state-of-the-art videoboard will also be displayed at the Sycuan Stage, where the Padres House Band will be performing.

Padres players and alumni will be available for photo and autograph opportunities at select times at multiple designated locations around Petco Park. Photos and autographs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. Fans will also have the opportunity to attend Q&A forums featuring Padres players, broadcasters and front office executives on the Sycuan Stage beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Returning in 2024 is the fan-favorite Padres Foundation Garage Sale featuring memorabilia, one-of-a-kind Padres items, collectibles and more. After expanding in 2023, the garage sale will once again encompass two locations: Park Blvd Plaza and Kona Patio on the Terrace Level. All proceeds from the garage sale will benefit the Padres Foundation’s charitable efforts.

Fans will also have the opportunity to watch the team work out on the main playing field from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. with interactive elements including player Q&A sessions with Padres broadcaster Mark “Mud” Grant during the workout. Batting practice will also feature a “golden ball” promotion where certain baseballs will have gold stitching. Lucky fans who receive a gold ball can present it at the Padres New Era Team Store for a Padres replica jersey of their choice. The Petco Park video board will also feature advanced player performance metrics throughout the duration of batting practice so fans can see how far, fast and high balls travel.

New in 2024, Padres FanFest will host the inaugural Celebrity/Alumni Softball game on the playing field from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. This fun showcase will pit Padres alumni Trevor Hoffman and Tony Gwynn, Jr. against each other as opposing managers facing off in a softball game featuring notable Padres fans who are NFL, Olympic, NWSL, WNBA, UFC, collegiate and entertainment legends. Other Padre legend participants include Randy Jones, Garry Templeton, Mark Loretta, Steve Finley and more.

Standard Petco Park security and screening procedures will be in place for Padres FanFest. Re-entry to the event is permitted, though fans who exit will be screened upon re-entering the ballpark.

Information about Padres FanFest, including maps, schedules, and further details can be found at www.padres.com/FanFest and in the MLB Ballpark app. Fans must download the app to scan their ticket upon entry and are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the app prior to attending the event.

Following FanFest, the Padres will also host two exhibition games against the Seattle Mariners on Monday, March 25 at 6:40 p.m. and Tuesday, March 26 at 1:10 p.m. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Petco Park, tickets for each game will be $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages 14 and under. Tickets for these exhibition games will go on sale Tuesday, February 13 with Padres Season Ticket Members enjoying presale access before the general public.
