Pipeline Preview: Naylor set to make Double-A debut

Here's a look at top prospects to watch in today's Minor League action:
Hitter to watch:Josh Naylor (Padres' No. 12), San Antonio at Frisco (8:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Naylor will make his debut for Double-A San Antonio in his first game action since he suited up for the World Team in Sunday's SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game for a second straight year. The 20-year-old first baseman is moving up to the Texas League after hitting .297/.361/.452 with eight home runs and 45 RBIs in 72 games with Class A Advanced Lake Elsinore.

Pitcher to watch: Kolby Allard (Braves' No. 3), Mississippi vs. Jackson (8 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Allard, MLB Pipeline's No. 43 overall prospect, won for the first time since May 14 in his last start for Double-A Mississippi, allowing three unearned runs on six hits with six strikeouts in five innings. Though he's scuffled a bit since the beginning of June following a strong start to his season, Allard, at age 19, still owns an impressive 2.88 ERA through a career-high 90 2/3 innings (17 starts) in the Southern League.

Duel of the day: Ariel Jurado (Rangers' No. 3) vs. Enyel De Los Santos (Padres' No. 14), Frisco vs. San Antonio (8:05 p.m. ET)
Jurado, a 2012 international signee out of Panama, is looking to rebound from a rough start in which he allowed six runs in six innings. The 21-year-old righty sports a 4.39 ERA and 67-to-25 strikeout-to-walk ratio through 17 starts. Jurado, who has a 3.19 career ERA across five seasons, allowed two earned runs in each of the two starts prior to his most recent.

De Los Santos is fresh off of a solid start, with the 21-year-old allowing two earned runs in seven innings. The 2014 international signee has been impressive over his past five outings, posting a 2.93 ERA with 28 strikeouts across that period. The righty was traded to the Padres in 2015 by the Mariners.
