Power outage causes delay at Chase Field

PHOENIX -- With two outs in the top of the sixth, some of the lights at Chase Field went out as part of a power outage, causing a delay in the Rangers-D-backs game.
With the game tied at 4, the Rangers had runners on second and third with two outs and a 3-2 count on Delino DeShields when some of the stadium lights went out.
There was a heavy storm outside Chase Field, which has a retractable roof. The storm caused an issue with a transformer in downtown Phoenix, which led to the 21-minute, 43-second delay.
DeShields walked, which led to a pinch-hit single from Willie Calhoun that put the Rangers ahead, 5-4. Texas wouldn't relinquish the lead and went on to win, 9-5.
