Jays Care Invests More Than $2.6 Million in Funding to Community Baseball Diamonds Across Canada in 2026

As announced on Sportsnet’s Blue Jays Central, Jays Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays, is proudly committing more than $2.6 million in infrastructure investments in 2026 to build and refurbish baseball diamonds across Canada through its granting program, Field of Dreams made possible by TD. This is the largest infrastructure investment Jays Care has ever made through the Field of Dreams program, furthering Jays Care’s commitment to growing grassroots baseball across Canada and ensuring more kids have the opportunity to grow through the power of baseball.

Twenty-two organizations across seven provinces will receive funding to build, enhance, or refurbish local baseball diamonds in their community. These diamonds will help expand the game of baseball across Canada, while providing kids with a safe and inclusive space to build character, resilience, and find a sense of belonging in their community.

Since the program’s inception in 2000, Jays Care has invested more than $24 million in 262 Field of Dreams projects across the country. Communities are selected through a two-step application and grading process that begins in September of the previous year.

The following communities and organizations have been selected as Jays Care’s 2026 Field of Dreams grant recipients:

4. Summerland, British Columbia – Summerland Minor Baseball, Living Memorial Park
5. Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick – Vallée-des-Rivières, Ecole Sainte-Anne
6. Saint John, New Brunswick – Port City Pirates Baseball Association, St. Peters Baseball Field
7. Salisbury, New Brunswick – Salisbury Petitcodiac Minor Baseball Association, Petitcodiac Field
8. Pasadena, Newfoundland and Labrador – Pasadena Baseball, N. W. Bennett Sports Field
9. Glace Bay, Nova Scotia – Glace Bay Little League, Cameron Bowl Ballfield
10. Glace Bay, Nova Scotia – Glace Bay Learn to Succeed, Row Street Field
11. Waverly, Nova Scotia– Halifax Regional Municipality, McDonald Sports Park
