INF Kyle Farmer
Kyle Farmer joins the Braves for his tenth major league season across five teams. The Atlanta native has hit .333 (14-for-42) with a double, a home run and five RBI this spring, and holds a career .279 batting average and .805 OPS against left-handed pitchers.

C Jonah Heim
Switch-hitter Jonah Heim signed with Atlanta on a one-year pact after five seasons (2021-’25) with Texas and one with Oakland (’20). The backstop won a World Series with Texas in 2023, earning his sole career All-Star appearance and Gold Glove in that season after slashing .258/.317/.438 (118-for-457) with 18 homers and 95 RBI.

INF Jorge Mateo
Infielder Jorge Mateo joined the Braves on a one-year deal after six seasons between San Diego (2020-’21) and Baltimore (2021-’25). The Dominican Republic native, who has made 294 of his 429 defensive appearances at shortstop, stole the seventh-most bases (95) in the American League from 2022-’25, including an AL-best 35 in 2022.

1B Dominic Smith
Dominic Smith is appearing in his tenth major league season and his eighth in the National League East after spending the first seven seasons of his career between the Mets (2017-’22) and Nationals (’23). Smith played 63 games with San Francisco in 2025 and slashed .284/.333/.417 (58-for-204), representing his best performance in each category since 2020.

RHP Robert Suarez
Robert Suarez, a native of Venezuela, was inked to a three-year deal to strengthen the club’s bullpen after posting a 2.91 ERA in 206 games across four seasons with San Diego. Since his debut in 2022, Suarez has earned two All-Star nods, fanned 219 total batters, and posted the fifth-lowest WHIP (0.98) of major league relievers (min. 200 IP).

OF Mike Yastrzemski
Entering his eighth big league season, Mike Yastrzemski signed a two-year contract with the Braves during the offseason after spending the majority of his previous seven seasons with San Francisco. The grandson of Carl Yastrzemski, Mike concluded his 2025 campaign with Kansas City, slugging 14 doubles and nine home runs in 50 games, good for a .839 OPS.
