Orioles Sign Second-Round Selection Ty Head

The Orioles today signed center fielder TY HEAD, the team’s second-round selection the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.

Head, the Winter Garden, Fla. native and North Carolina State University product, is the second of 20 Orioles draft picks to sign, along with first-round pick ERIC BOOTH JR. The deadline for MLB teams to sign their draft selections is Monday, July 27, at 5 p.m. ET.
