ST. LOUIS -- The Cardinals have invited 25 non-roster players, including three of their top prospects, to participate in big league Spring Training, general manager John Mozeliak confirmed on Thursday.
Highlighting the group of invitees are outfielder Harrison Bader (No. 3), right-hander Jack Flaherty (No. 4) and right-hander Sandy Alcantara (No. 9), all of whom ended the 2016 rankings by MLBPipeline.com as top 10 prospects in the organization.

The full list of invitees is as follows:
Pitchers: Alcantara, Flaherty, Kendry Flores, Austin Gomber, Corey Littrell, Josh Lucas, Trey Nielsen, Zach Phillips, Daniel Poncedeleon, Arturo Reyes, Rob Rowland, Jordan Schafer, Ryan Sherriff
Catchers: Eric Fryer, Andrew Knizner, Gabriel Lino, Jeremy Martinez, Dennis Ortega, Alberto Rosario
Infielders: Paul DeJong, Wilfredo Tovar, Patrick Wisdom
Outfielders: Bader, Todd Cunningham, Chad Huffman
Eight players -- Flores, Phillips, Schafer, Fryer, Lino, Huffman, Tovar and Cunningham -- received their Spring Training invites by signing Minor League deals with the club over the offseason. All players already on the Cardinals' 40-man roster automatically earn a spot in big league camp.
The Cardinals have required that pitchers and catchers report to the team's complex in Jupiter, Fla., by Feb. 14. The group's first workout will be held the following day. The Cardinals' first full-squad workout is scheduled for Feb. 18.
