D-backs-Cubs finale delayed by rain

CHICAGO -- Rain delayed the start of Thursday's game between the Cubs and D-backs at Wrigley Field by an hour and a half, and it caused another delay in the top of the second inning.
Paul Goldschmidt slugged a three-run shot and Brandon Drury added a solo home run in the first inning off Chicago starter José Quintana, backing Arizona ace Zack Greinke.

Quintana induced two groundouts in the second before the tarp came back out with the D-backs up, 4-0.
The two teams split the first two games of this series, with the Cubs romping, 16-4, on Tuesday but losing, 3-0, on Wednesday. This is Arizona's only trip to Chicago this season. The two teams will meet in Phoenix from Aug. 11-13.
