Rays-Yanks game delayed due to rain

NEW YORK -- Friday's game between the Rays and Yankees at Yankee Stadium was delayed for the third time due to rain with one out in the top of the ninth inning, with New York leading, 7-4.
The Rays' Evan Longoria had just singled to put runners on first and third for Tampa Bay before the grounds crew brought the tarp back onto the field as rain rolled in again.
The clubs also waited out delays in the fourth inning, with Mark Teixeira hitting his 11th career grand slam shortly after play resumed, and the sixth inning.
