Boomstick Burrito: Rangers introduce new food items for 2025

ARLINGTON -- Everything is bigger in Texas, especially one very large burrito.

On Monday at Globe Life Field, the Rangers and Delaware North announced the new retail and concession items for the 2025 MLB season, including the new Boomstick Burrito.

Over the years, the Rangers have debuted various versions of the Boomstick, a 24-inch loaded hot dog that has been a mainstay on the menu for over a decade. The Boomstick Burger debuted in 2023, and the Boomstick Triple-Play -- which combines a hot dog, hamburger and nachos -- was on the menu last season.

The Boomstick Burrito is a 26-inch flour tortilla filled with rice, beans, seasoned taco meat, Rico’s Nacho Cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce and sour cream. All Boomstick variations are available at the Texas 24” stand at Section 132.

Hurtado Barbecue -- which started as a member of Arlington Eats in 2022 and opened its own stand in ‘23 -- returns with new food items.

Arlington Eats (Section 101), which features local restaurants on a rotating basis throughout the season, will kick off with fan favorite Prince Lebanese. El Tiempo Cantina and Restaurant 506 at The Sanford House are new for the 2025 season.

Section 106 will feature a trio of new lobster options:

The Hot Dawwg Triple Play -- a trio of specialty Texas Chili Dawwgs served with Lay’s chips -- will be available at Abner Double Dawwgs stands at Sections 03, 121 and 225. The trio of hot dogs are:

In addition to the various food items in 2025, a new food court is also opening at Globe Life Field on the main concourse. The new food court is highlighted by the Texas Craft Bar, with a rotation selection of local craft beers and specialty cocktails.

The beer selection will have a mix of cans, bottles and draft, including Anheuser-Busch products, Karbach Hopadillo, Karbach Love Street, Karbach Ranch Water and Zeigenbock, as well as Rollertown 133 Pilsner, Rollertown Big German, Rollertown The 133, Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde, Real Ale Texas Light, Community Mosaic, Martin House Dr. Bock, Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing, Deep Ellum Blonde, Lone Star, Rahr Texas Light and Shiner Bock.

The Texas-themed cocktails are: the Lone Star Lemonade (Balcones Texas whiskey with lemon juice, simple syrup and a splash of soda), Texas Backyard Shandy (Teremana Tequila and orange juice topped with a light Texas beer) and Balcones Whiskey Sour (Balcones whiskey, Cointreau, lemon juice, simple syrup and orange juice topped with cherry syrup).
