Rangers-Twins delayed by rain in second

MINNEAPOLIS -- The series finale between the Rangers and Twins has been delayed during the second inning due to weather. Texas was leading, 5-2, when the action was paused. No announcement has been made on an expected restart time.
The Rangers, who had won two of the first three games of the series at Target Field, jumped out to a 5-0 advantage in the top of the first. Minnesota right-hander José Berríos gave up a pair of home runs to Adrián Beltré and Joey Gallo, which snapped a streak of 24 2/3 innings without allowing a homer.
In the bottom of the second, Max Kepler took Texas left-hander Nick Martinez deep to cut the deficit to three runs.
