ARLINGTON -- Everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes concessions.

On Monday at Globe Life Field, the Rangers and Delaware North announced the new retail and concession items for the 2024 MLB season, including a number of local and regional food chains and items.

The Texas-based burger chain Whataburger highlights the new 2024 concessions at Globe Life Field. Located near section 105, the stand will feature most menu items, including the #1 Whataburger, as well as French fries, crispy onion rings and shakes.

The Whataburger construction will not be finished by Opening Weekend against the Cubs, but it will be completed by the second homestand of the season against the Astros and A’s from April 5-11.

Arlington Eats (Section 101), which features local restaurants on a rotating basis throughout the season, has expanded this season from two restaurants to seven. Those will be: Ella B’s Restaurant, Prince Lebanese Grill, Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery, The Tin Cup, Cartel Tacos, Shrimp Doc and TJ’s Catfish & Wings.

Arlington Eats will be open for all home games in 2024.

Hurtado Barbecue -- which started as a member of Arlington Eats in 2022 and opened its own stand in ‘23 -- returns to Globe Life Field this season, with a brand new menu item. The Milanesa Taco is one of the most popular menu items at their brick and mortar restaurant, and features chicken-fried brisket, served with gravy and chile de arbol in a flour tortilla.

Hurtado is located in Section 141, though a second express location will be added in April in Section 201 due to the overwhelming popularity of the local restaurant.

One of the Rangers’ most iconic concession items, the Boomstick, is getting a makeover in 2024: the Boomstick Triple Play. This will be a new take on the classic two-foot hot dog or hamburger that has been one of the most popular items over the years.

The new version combines the Boomstick hot dog, hamburger and nachos. It features two Nolan Ryan Beef patties served on an eight-inch bun and topped with Rico’s Nacho Cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles; a foot-long Texas Chili Company hot dog topped with Texas Chili Company chili, Rico’s Nacho Cheese, grilled onion and jalapenos; and a towering helping of Tostitos tortilla chips, topped with chili, nacho cheese, grilled onions and jalapenos.

The Boomstick Triple Play will be available at the Texas 24” stand at Section 132 for $32.99.
