Rays acquire catcher Corporan from Yanks

The Rays acquired catcher Carlos Corporan from the Yankees on Saturday in exchange for cash considerations.
Corporan, 32, is a .218/.280/.342 career hitter in parts of six Major League seasons with the Brewers, Astros and Rangers.
He hit .167 in 32 Grapefruit League plate appearances this spring for the Yankees.
The Rays assigned Corporan to Triple-A Durham.
