Rays-Pirates start time for today's game moved up to 3:30 p.m. ET because of forecast

The start time for Saturday’s Rays-Pirates game at PNC Park has been moved up 3:30 p.m. ET due to expected impending storms later tonight.

The game was originally scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET.

The Pirates won the series opener on Friday, 5-1. Oneil Cruz homered, and starting pitcher Bubba Chandler picked up his first victory of the season.

Today’s pitching matchup will feature a duel between Opening Day starters. The Rays’ Drew Rasmussen, who has a 1.13 ERA over his first three starts of the year, is set to battle reigning National League Cy Young Award winner Paul Skenes.
