Reds and Nike unveil new custom City Connect shoe

The Cincinnati Reds, in partnership with Nike, officially announce the launch of a new, custom City Connect sneaker on May 30, 2026.

The Nike Air Max 1 “Reds” will be available while supplies last exclusively at the Reds Team Shop at Great American Ball Park. The on-sale starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 30.

Limited inventory will also be available on May 31 - on sale at the UNheardof Brand store at 15 W. 4th St. in downtown Cincinnati, as well as other select regional retailers and online at Nike.com.

The custom design of this Nike Air Max 1 “Reds” shoe was inspired by the team’s City Connect 2.0 uniform.

Like the new threads, this sneaker embraces the color red with multiple shades throughout. The iconic CINCY mark is stamped on the heel, with tone-on-tone pinstripes carried over from the uniform.

The shoe also features an MLB lace dubrae, the City Connect “C” on the tongue and the Fountain Square sleeve patch art displayed on the sockliner.

For the May 30 on-sale at the Reds Team Shop, fans are encouraged to line up early for the opportunity to purchase. The release will be available in extremely limited quantities and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A strict limit of one pair per person in line will be enforced. Each individual must be present to purchase. Men’s sizing will be available from 6 to 15.
