June 18, 2000: Lansing cycles in the first four innings
Mike Lansing got this cycle over with early. He began with an RBI triple in the first inning, then homered in the second, knocked a two-run double in the third and capped the feat with a single in the fourth.

June 19, 1999: Helton achieves a cycle with a triple
Todd Helton wasn't known for speed. But he turned on the jets in the seventh inning to complete his cycle against the Marlins with a triple.

July 25, 1998: Perez's second-decker shot gives him cycle
After a bunt single, Neifi Perez ended all cycle drama with a first-pitch home run into the second deck in right field.

June 10, 1998: Bichette hits for the cycle
Dante Bichette didn't have a hit until the fourth inning against the Rangers. By the time he was done, he had five RBIs, and his 10th-inning walk-off single gave him the first cycle in club history.

May 4, 1993: Tatum's tater makes club history
Games at Wrigley Field often can be as wild as games in Denver. This one certainly was. With the Rockies leading, 6-5, in the eighth, pinch-hitter Jim Tatum parked the first grand slam in Rockies history. Of course, that didn't put the game out of reach. In fact, the Rockies would need to score four in the 11th and still hang on for a 14-13 victory over the Cubs.

Aug. 31, 1997: Walker mashes a moonshot
Larry Walker's Hall of Fame career was full of feats of power and panache. In a 10-4 victory over the Athletics at Coors Field, Walker hit what was projected as the longest homer of his career -- 493 feet.

April 15, 1994: Burks goes all the way
The Rockies were in a close game with the Expos at Mile High Stadium in the sixth. Ellis Burks opened some breathing room with his drive to right field that not only scored Charlie Hayes from second but resulted in the first inside-the-park homer in club history.

April 10, 2003: Rockies turn their first triple play
Shawn Chacon was in trouble, so he turned it over to his fielders. With runners at second and third in the sixth inning and the Rockies up by a run, Orlando Palmeiro's liner to first base turned into the first triple play in club history. This 7-6 Rockies victory also was the first win of the 14-year Major League career of relief pitcher Javier López.

April 15, 1993: Nied throws Rockies' first complete game
The Rockies made David Nied their first player by taking him from the Braves in the 1992 Expansion Draft. And he was the first to conquer Mile High Stadium with a complete-game victory. With the tying run at the plate, Nied fanned Mets batters Jeff Kent and Ryan Thompson to wrap up a 5-3 win.

July 25, 2003: Tsao makes Taiwanese history
Wanting to make their mark in the Pacific Rim, the Rockies signed Chin-hui Tsao before the 2000 season and watched him ascend quickly to the Majors. He became the first Taiwanese pitcher to make a start -- and the first to earn a win -- when he faced down the Brewers at Coors Field in a 7-3 victory.
