DENVER -- The Rockies' 2019 season was a grind, but it made for some incredible moments. Here are 10 of the best in Colorado's campaign:

1. Arenado makes amends
Aug. 14 vs. D-backs
After Ryan McMahon’s three-run pinch-hit home run in the sixth helped the Rockies climb into the game after an early deficit, Nolan Arenado popped out with the bases loaded to end the threat. In the ninth, however, Arenado delivered a two-run walk-off homer off Archie Bradley.

2. Arenado makes it 200
May 25 vs. Orioles
Arenado logged his 200th homer, an early three-run shot, but the Rockies would drop this contest, 9-6.

3. Story is in the record books … so is a walk-off “W”
May 24 vs. Orioles
Trevor Story became the fastest shortstop in history to 100 home runs -- in his 448th game, beating Alex Rodriguez’s 470 -- with a seventh-inning homer. But his two-run walk-off shot for an 8-6 victory really gave him and the Rockies reason to celebrate.

4. The almost-daily walk-off
May 27 vs. D-backs
This time it was Raimel Tapia, whose 11th-inning single, after Ian Desmond’s one-out double, gave the Rockies their third walk-off victory in four games.

5. Márquez holds Giants to just a hit
April 14 vs. Giants
The Rockies began the season 3-12 and needed a spark from the mound. Germán Márquez provided it by holding the Giants to one hit for a shutout. It was the first complete game in the Majors in 2019.

6. Making his first unforgettable
April 19 vs. Phillies
Charlie Blackmon went without a homer in 82 at-bats during his slow start to 2019. He finally went deep in a big way: a 12th-inning, two-run walk-off against the Phillies’ Juan Nicasio.

7. McMahon walks it off
Aug. 26 vs. Braves
It was an inspiring day late in the season, featuring an encouraging start for Tim Melville in his Coors Field debut, an Ian Desmond outfield assist for a double play in the fourth and the big blow: McMahon’s game-winning, two-run pull shot.

8. Blackmon, straight down the middle
June 13 vs. Padres
Blackmon used to be considered a dead-pull hitter. But in this win over the Padres, he swatted two home runs to center field. Just to provide a taste of the past, Blackmon pulled a triple into the right-field corner.

9. Murphy lifts the Rockies
May 30 vs. D-backs
The Rockies spent the first two months pulling up from a slow start. Daniel Murphy’s 10th-inning walk-off single pulled the Rockies to .500 for the first time since the regular season’s fourth game.

10. A long-awaited big blast
April 3 vs. Rays
The Rockies had struck out 72 times in the first seven games when Chris Iannetta stepped to the plate and connected in a big way -- an 11th-inning home run for a 1-0 victory.
