Marlins' spring ballpark debuts renovations
JUPITER, Fla. – The Marlins Jupiter Academy isn’t the only newly renovated digs for the organization this spring.
This week, Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium debuted a new look in time for Grapefruit League action.
Here are the three major upgrades to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium:
Jupiter Medical Center Champions Club (second level)
- Upper-level premium space located along the third-base side with panoramic field views
- Premium and cocktail-style seating
- Upgraded all-inclusive menu featuring specialty entrees and non-alcoholic beverages
- Private bar with custom specialty cocktails and dedicated service
Hot Corner Bar (first level)
- Field-level, open-air social space along the third-base side
- Party atmosphere with strong sightlines
- Brand-new 50-foot bar featuring cocktails and fan favorites
- Ideal for corporate outings, birthday celebrations and group gatherings
- Postgame entertainment on select Saturdays during Spring Training
The Champions Club and Hot Corner reside where the third-base-side bleachers used to be and combine for 8,000-square feet.
Team Store
- 3,000-square-foot retail space, which is three times the size of the previous store
- Flexible merchandise displays that rotate year-round
- Dual access points from both the exterior and interior of the ballpark
- Exterior access opens at 9 a.m. ET daily
Other stadium enhancements include a new sound system and LED ribbon boards above both bullpens, a renovated visiting clubhouse, expanded locker rooms to support umpires and other major events, press box and press level improvements and updated administrative space and offices.
Additional projects, including public art installations on the plaza, will continue once Spring Training concludes.
Fans attending games for the Marlins’ Single-A affiliate, the Jupiter Hammerheads, at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium will also be able to enjoy the updates during the Florida State League.
