Speedy Gore optioned to Double-A

KANSAS CITY -- The Royals announced after Monday's home opener that they have optioned outfielder Terrance Gore to Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
No corresponding move has been announced, but the Royals could recall a bullpen addition.
Gore appeared in Monday's 2-0 loss to the A's as a pinch-runner.
