Lewis exits with left shoulder soreness against Guardians

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins announced that Royce Lewis left Sunday's 9-2 loss to the Guardians after five innings with left shoulder soreness. He made a diving play to get the last out of the fourth inning at first base, and flied out to right field in his final at-bat in the bottom half of the inning.
Victor Caratini entered the game as Lewis’s replacement at first base in the top of the sixth. As of now, there’s no indication of what caused the left shoulder soreness for Lewis to leave the game.
Lewis is slashing .230/.297/.688 with the Twins this season.
