Jeffers, who missed 46 games with a left hamate bone fracture, recently played in five games for Triple-A St. Paul on a rehab assignment, hitting .375 (6-for-16) with one double, two home runs, two RBIs and two walks. To make room for Jeffers on the 26-man roster, the Twins optioned outfielder Kyler Fedko to St. Paul. Fedko went 0-for-16 with one RBI, two walks and one run scored in 14 games for the Twins.
