All you need to know for Star-Spangled Sunday

What better way to celebrate America's 250th birthday weekend than with the national pastime all in one place? That's the idea behind NBC/Peacock's "Star-Spangled Sunday" on July 5, when the network will use its platforms (NBC, Peacock, NBCSN) to show all 15 MLB games on the schedule, with most of them exclusively on that platform.

Here's everything you need to know.

When is NBC/Peacock's "Star-Spangled Sunday?"

"Star-Spangled Sunday" will be on July 5 starting at noon ET with the "MLB Sunday Leadoff" pregame show on NBC and streaming on Peacock.

What is the schedule of MLB games for "Star-Spangled Sunday?"

Here's the complete broadcast schedule for the day and where to watch.

All times Eastern:

Note: NBCSN is available to Comcast and YouTube TV subscribers, while NBCSN Extra is available to subscribers of YouTube TV.

Will there be blackouts?

No. All games on "Star-Spangled Sunday" will be presented blackout-free.

Will I be able to hear my team's usual announcers?

Yes, in most cases. NBC has worked with regional sports networks to use announcers from each club's broadcast team, meaning most games will include a play-by-play broadcaster or analyst from each squad's usual announcing team. The games on NBC (Mets-Braves and Padres-Dodgers) will have a neutral play-by-play announcer but will include analysts associated with each team.

Who are the announcers for each game?

Can I watch my team if I don't have Peacock or NBCSN?

It depends. The two NBC games (Mets-Braves and Padres-Dodgers) are available over the air as well as on Peacock. Every other game will be shown on Peacock and NBCSN, so you will need access to those platforms. However, in the case of Phillies-Royals, Giants-Rockies, Blue Jays-Mariners and Red Sox-Angels, those games will also be available on the visiting team's RSN.

Anything else I need to know about "Star-Spangled Sunday?"

Yes. Fans watching on Peacock will have the opportunity to view up to four games at once on web and living room devices via MLB Multiview. This feature gives fans a curated four-box presentation of the top matchups of the day, and allows for easy toggling among the four games. If fans want to focus on one particular game among the four, they can simply select that game for a full-screen presentation. And fans who tune in to a game late can use the "Catch Up with Key Plays" feature to see all the big moments so far.

On what devices can I watch the games on Peacock?

Peacock is supported on a variety of devices and platforms. You can find a full list here.
