CINCINNATI -- The Reds and reliever Tejay Antone agreed to terms on a Minor League contract on Friday that keeps the right-hander in the organization. Antone announced the deal on his Instagram page but the club has yet to make an announcement about an official signing.

Antone, 31, has not pitched in the big leagues since 2024, when he made four appearances before tearing his ulnar collateral ligament for the third time and required his third Tommy John surgery.

In 45 games over parts of four Major League seasons, Antone has a 2.47 ERA. He underwent previous UCL procedures in 2017 while in the Minors and in 2021 while with Cincinnati's big league club.

During the 2025 season, Antone continued his rehab from his third surgery and worked his way back in the Minor Leagues. Over 15 games at three levels, he had a 10.20 ERA and finished the year at Triple-A Louisville.
