Bucs-Padres is today's 2nd free MLB.TV game

The two-for-one special on MLB.TV continued today, with a pair of exciting contests in Cincinnati and San Diego. Last weekend, the streaming provider debuted a double down for its exclusive free game of the day promotion.

In the first game of the streaming doubleheaders, the Reds routed the first-place Brewers, 12-3. Cincinnati reliever Michael Lorenzen put the finishing touches on the victory with a pinch-hit grand slam, his third home run in the past seven days.
The quietly improving Padres turn to perhaps their best starter, Eric Lauer, as they square off against the Pirates at Petco Park at 10:10 p.m. ET. The 22-year-old left-hander is 2-1 with a 2.28 ERA in June. Pittsburgh's Trevor Williams will get another crack at the Friars after giving up four runs over six innings against them on May 20.
