Santillan, Williamson take next steps with successful Triple-A rehab outings

CINCINNATI -- The Reds received some promising developments from Triple-A Louisville on Sunday afternoon.
Reliever Tony Santillan (left oblique strain) logged another perfect inning as the opener with a strikeout in facing three batters. Brandon Williamson came on and threw 63 pitches (47 strikes) in his 3 2/3 innings, allowing one run on five hits to go with two strikeouts and no walks.

Williamson came out of his game with two outs in the fifth after surrendering an RBI double to Jace Jung, with the Bats leading, 4-1.
Santillan will pitch either Tuesday or Wednesday and then a possible activation to the Major League roster.
