Thursday's top prospect performers

Here's a look at Thursday's top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

Tigers: Riley Greene, OF (MLB No. 16), Double-A Erie
Greene’s slump is officially busted. After hitting a bit of a rough patch, Greene and his bat opted to have a sleepover and the results have been impressive. After going 2-for-3 with a pair of homers Thursday, Greene is 5-for-8 with seven RBIs over his past two games. The fifth overall pick from the 2019 Draft went deep in both the sixth and eighth innings, giving him the second two-homer game of his career. Greene is now hitting .279 on the year. Marte has been off to a fast start this season and that continued with his 2-for-4, three-RBI night on Thursday. The 19-year-old hit his fourth homer of the season in the first inning and later added a double. Through 14 games Marte has put together eight multihit performances, including six in his past seven contests. Signed back in 2018, Marte made his professional debut in 2019 when he hit .309 over 65 games in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League. Mariners prospects stats »

Marlins: Jesús Sánchez, OF (No. 6), Triple-A Jacksonville
Sánchez continues to rake as he put together another multihit performance, going 2-for-4 with his seventh homer of the season. Sánchez, whom the Marlins signed back in 2014, may be the hottest hitter in the Minors right now. The 23-year-old is hitting a ridiculous .509/.536/1.573 and has hits in 12 of the 13 games he’s played -- eight of which are multihit efforts. Marlins prospects stats »

Nationals: Evan Lee, LHP (No. 24), High-A Wilmington
Lee seemingly had everything working as he twirled 4 2/3 scoreless innings. The 23-year-old had given up five earned runs over 3 2/3 innings entering play, but rebounded to turn in his best start of the season and rack up a career-high nine strikeouts. Lee gave up four hits and walked a pair, but threw 58 of his 89 pitches for strikes and was able to keep Aberdeen off the scoreboard. Nationals prospects stats »

Wallner is hitting .322 early in the season and has hits in six of his past seven games. He’s also homered in two of his past three contests. Twins prospects stats »

Rangers: Cole Winn, RHP (No. 3), Double-A Frisco
Winn was a hard-luck loser Thursday night, despite allowing one run over six innings. The 21-year-old allowed three hits and a walk, struck out five and lowered his ERA to 2.87 through his first three starts. The lone blemish against him came in the opening frame during a two-batter sequence when he hit a batter and surrendered an RBI double.
