Turner named NL Rookie of Month for second time

Nationals center fielder and infielder Trea Turner has repeated as National League Rookie of the Month for September/October after earning the same honor in August.
The 23-year-old Turner hit .339/.380/.612 with eight home runs, 18 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in 29 games in the season's final month-plus to help lead the Nationals to the NL East title.
Turner produced 13 multi-hit games, including one four-hit and three three-hit performances while in center for the Nationals, who open the NL Division Series on Friday at Nationals Park against the Dodgers (FS1, 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT).
Turner ended his rookie campaign hitting .342/.370/.567 with 13 homers, 40 RBIs and 33 stolen bases in 73 games.
