CHICAGO -- Brooks Lee stroked a three-run double in the top of the 11th inning as the Twins pulled out a wild, hard-fought win over the White Sox on Tuesday night, 5-3, at Rate Field.

With automatic runner (and pinch-runner) Ryan Kreidler on second base, Luke Keaschall beat out a leadoff infield single to begin the 11th. After James Outman struck out, Byron Buxton walked thanks to a successful challenge, bringing up Lee, who delivered.

Tyler Davis got ahead of Lee, 0-2, but left a splitter up, and Lee drove it into the corner in right field to plate the winning runs. The hit gave him a team-leading 30 RBIs on the season.

The rally made a winner of Taylor Rogers, who pitched a scoreless 10th thanks to some defensive help. First baseman Josh Bell ended the inning with a slick unassisted double play against the dangerous Munetaka Murakami, who had hit a game-tying homer in his previous plate appearance.

With runners on the corners and the infield in, Murakami hit a sinking liner toward Bell. The ball was ruled to have hit the ground, so Bell tagged first base, then chased Sam Antonacci to tag him out before the winning run could score.

Yoendrys Gomez, who pitched for the White Sox in 2025, finished the game off for his third save of the year and second with the Twins. That capped a strong night for the Minnesota bullpen, which didn’t allow a run behind ace Joe Ryan.
