Indians-Twins tilt postponed, twin bill on tap

MINNEAPOLIS -- Wednesday's game between the Indians and Twins was postponed due to weather. The teams will play a split doubleheader on Thursday at Target Field. Game 1 is set for 1:10 p.m. ET and Game 2 will start at 7:10 p.m.
Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson will oppose righty Carlos Carrasco in the first game of the twin bill. In the nightcap, José Berríos will start against the Tribe's Ryan Merritt.
The Indians clubbed five homers in an 8-1 win over the Twins in Tuesday's series opener, improving to 8-0 at Target Field in 2017. Cleveland leads the American League Central by 5 1/2 games over the Royals and six games over the third-place Twins.
