The TV viewership for Sunday’s star-studded semifinal between the USA and the Dominican Republic at loanDepot park in Miami made World Baseball Classic history.

An audience of 7.369 million viewers took in Team USA’s thrilling 2-1 win on FS1 and FOX Deportes. That makes it the most-watched WBC broadcast in tournament history. There were 6.864 million viewers tuned into FS1, making it the network’s most-watched telecast since 2019. The game was also the most-watched sporting event from the past weekend.

Viewership peaked at the end of the game as 8.170 million watched FS1 between 11 p.m. ET and 11:08 p.m. ET, right as Team USA was clinching its third trip to the WBC championship game in as many tournaments.
