At 9:05 p.m. ET on Sunday, end your weekend in the Northwest League, listening to the beautiful sounds of Marco Luciano’s lasers off the bat as the Emeralds host the Hops.

The top Giants prospect is off to a hot start in his return to Eugene with a .299/.368/.506 line and four homers through 22 games. His .874 OPS ranks seventh in the High-A circuit to this point -- a stark improvement over his .577 mark in the category over a 36-game span late last season. Luciano, who has plus-plus raw power, has cut his NWL strikeout rate from 37.2 percent in 2021 to 21.8, and that’s aided his turnaround at the level.

Luciano could be joined in the Emeralds' lineup by fellow Top 13 Giants prospects Luis Matos (No. 2), Jairo Pomares (No. 6), Patrick Bailey (No. 7), Hunter Bishop (No. 8) and Casey Schmitt (No. 13).

The Hops boast a prospect-loaded lineup of their own. Three of the D-backs’ Top 17 prospects are position-player starters in A.J. Vukovich (No. 9), Ryan Bliss (No. 16) and Adrian Del Castillo (No. 17).
