When will they return? Springer, Seager, more

An unfortunate spate of injuries has impacted some of MLB's top stars. As we await their returns, here's the latest on when they could be back.

George Springer, OF, Blue Jays (10-day IL)
Injury: Right quad strain
Expected return: Possibly mid-to-late June
Springer ran the bases on June 10 and felt good. According to manager Charlie Montoyo, the center fielder is getting closer to beginning a rehab assignment.

Luke Voit, 1B, Yankees (10-day IL)
Injury: Grade 2 right oblique strain
Expected return: Before July 1
Voit has started swinging a bat and could be cleared to begin a rehab assignment in the next few days.

Lance McCullers Jr., RHP, Astros (10-day IL)
Injury: Right shoulder soreness
Expected return: Week of June 14
McCullers is expected to make his next start with the Astros after throwing 64 pitches in a rehab appearance with Triple-A Sugar Land on June 10.

Adalberto Mondesi, SS, Royals (10-day IL)
Injury: Left hamstring strain
Expected return: Possibly week of June 14
Mondesi is taking live batting practice on the field and doing some ground-ball work as he progresses from his hamstring strain.

John Means, LHP, Orioles (10-day IL)
Injury: Left shoulder fatigue
Expected return: Possibly mid-June
Means' MRI revealed no structural damage. He's expected to be re-evaluated the week of June 14.

Sonny Gray, RHP, Reds (10-day IL)
Injury: Right groin discomfort
Expected return: Possibly week of June 21
Gray was placed on the 10-day IL on June 9, and manager David Bell said his "best guess" is that the righty will miss two starts.

Michael Conforto, OF, Mets (10-day IL)
Injury: Strained right hamstring
Expected return: Late June
Conforto is expected to begin a rehab assignment by mid-June.

Zac Gallen, RHP, D-backs (10-day IL)
Injury: UCL sprain in right elbow
Expected return: Possibly late June/early July
Gallen threw a 32-pitch simulated game on June 7, using all of his pitches.

Madison Bumgarner, LHP, D-backs (10-day IL)
Injury: Left shoulder inflammation
Expected return: Possibly late June/early July
According to manager Torey Lovullo, Bumgarner was "still in the treatment phase" on June 8. He's hoping to progress to playing light catch soon.

Franmil Reyes, DH, Indians (10-day IL)
Injury: Oblique strain
Expected return: Early July
Reyes suffered an internal oblique strain on May 22 and was given a return timetable of five to seven weeks.

Corey Seager, SS, Dodgers (10-day IL)
Injury: Fractured right hand
Expected return: Early-to-mid July
Seager could soon be cleared to hit off a tee. It's possible he'll be back before the All-Star break.

Evan Longoria, 3B, Giants (10-day IL)
Injury: Left shoulder sprain
Expected return: Possibly mid-July
Longoria suffered his injury when he collided with shortstop Brandon Crawford while trying to field a ground ball on June 5. He's expected to miss four to six weeks.

Mike Trout, OF, Angels (10-day IL)
Injury: Grade 2 right calf strain
Expected return: July
It remains unclear if Trout will make it back before the All-Star break, as he hasn't resumed baseball activities.

Jack Flaherty, RHP, Cardinals (10-day IL)
Injury: Left oblique strain
Expected return: July
The Cardinals expect to be without Flaherty for a significant period of time after he was placed on the 10-day IL on June 1.

Corey Kluber, RHP, Yankees (60-day IL)
Injury: Subscapular muscle strain in right shoulder
Expected return: Late July
Kluber continues to play catch as of June 8.

Carlos Carrasco, RHP, Mets (60-day IL)
Injury: Torn left hamstring
Expected return: Possibly July
Carrasco was initially given a six-to-eight-week timetable during Spring Training, but it's now unlikely he'll be back before July.

Chris Sale, LHP, Red Sox (60-day IL)
Injury: Recovering from Tommy John surgery
Expected return: August
Sale threw 25 pitches in a bullpen session on June 8. He's progressing, but it's unlikely the lefty will be available for Boston before August.

Noah Syndergaard, RHP, Mets (60-day IL)
Injury: Recovering from Tommy John surgery
Expected return: Possibly August
Syndergaard was removed from his rehab start with Low-A St. Lucie on May 25 due to right elbow inflammation and will be shut down from throwing for six weeks.

Luis Severino, RHP, Yankees (60-day IL)
Injury: Recovering from Tommy John surgery
Expected return: TBD
Severino exited his rehab start with High-A Hudson Valley on June 12 with an apparent injury to his right leg/ankle.

Stephen Strasburg, RHP, Nationals (10-day IL)
Injury: Neck strain
Expected return: TBD
Strasburg has been shut down from throwing and is limited to lower-body exercises as of June 10.
