Team to watch

The fact Julio Rodríguez is starting there could make Everett the best team to keep an eye on. Add in the fact that he’s one of 13 Top 30 prospects on the Opening Day roster, and it makes the AquaSox a clear favorite to watch, especially given that the rotation will be led by the organization’s last two first-round picks, Kirby and Hancock

Low-A Modesto

New faces

Trammell officially joined the Mariners’ organization last summer, but his first real game action didn’t’ come until this year, when he debuted in the big leagues. Similarly, Alberto Rodriguez came to the Mariners in the Taijuan Walker trade last August and he’ll see his first game action with Modesto.

On the shelf

Adcock and Delaplane will both miss the 2021 season after having Tommy John surgery. Outfielder Fraley injured his hamstring in the big leagues in early April and is still on the injured list.
