    Team to watch
    Double-A Birmingham features seven of the White Sox' top 12 prospects: right-handers Carson Fulmer and Tyler Danish, outfielders Adam Engel and Courtney Hawkins, third baseman Trey Michalczewski and lefties Jordan Guerrero and Brian Clark. The Barons also have one of the best stories in the Minors in shortstop Eddy Alvarez, who won a silver medal in speed skating at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

    New faces
    Slugging outfielder Franklin Reyes will make his pro debut this summer in the Rookie-level Arizona League after signing for $1.5 million out of the Dominican Republic last July.
    On the shelf
    Right-hander Blake Hickman also could make his pro debut this summer, though he's currently working his way back from Tommy John surgery and is in extended spring camp. Lefty Jace Fry is on high Class A Winston-Salem's disabled list after he had his elbow reconstructed for the second time last June.
