Thursday's White Sox home opener postponed, rescheduled for Friday (1:10 p.m. CT)

Thursday’s scheduled 2026 home opener between the Chicago White Sox and the defending American League champion Toronto Blue Jays has been postponed due to a forecast of inclement weather.

The 2026 White Sox home opener will be moved to Friday, April 3, at 1:10 p.m. CT. Parking lots will open at 10 a.m. with gates to Rate Field opening at 11:10 a.m.

All tickets for Thursday’s postponed contest, including prepaid parking passes, Stadium Club passes, Ballpark Pass tickets and patio tickets, now are good for admission to Friday’s rescheduled game at Rate Field. No exchanges are necessary.

Chicago Sports Network and ESPN Chicago Radio AM-1000/FM-100.3 HD2 will broadcast the White Sox home opener.
