Yankees announce 2018 season schedule

NEW YORK -- The Yankees will need to pack their passports for Spring Training, as they are scheduled to open the 2018 regular season north of the border with a four-game series against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, beginning with Opening Day on March 29.

The 115th home opener in Yankees history is scheduled to be played against the Rays on April 2 at Yankee Stadium, beginning a six-game homestand that also welcomes the Orioles to town.
The 2018 season will see the Yankees face off against the National League East in Interleague Play. In addition to the Subway Series against the Mets, the Yankees will pay visits to the Nationals (May 15-16), Phillies (June 25-27) and Marlins (Aug. 21-22).
Interleague visitors include the Marlins (April 16-17), Nationals (June 12-13) and Braves (July 2-4). The home-and-home series with the Marlins promises to be particularly interesting, given Derek Jeter's bid for ownership of that franchise.
The storied rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox will write its next chapters beginning with an April 10-12 visit to Fenway Park. The Yankees head to Beantown on Aug. 2-5 and Sept. 28-30, the latter series completing the regular season.
Boston is scheduled to visit the Bronx on May 8-10, June 29-July 1 and Sept. 18-20.
There will be two three-game Subway Series, from June 8-10 at Citi Field and July 20-22 at Yankee Stadium. Game times for all contests will be announced at a later date.
After a nine-game trip to Oakland (Sept. 3-5), Seattle (Sept. 7-9) and Minnesota (Sept. 10-12), the Yankees' final 16 games are scheduled against American League East opponents.
