Yankees hosting 'Star Wars' Weekend with out-of-this-world promotional items

If you’ve long dreamed of finding yourself in a galaxy far, far away, the Yankees are making sure you don’t have to go THAT far to get at least a taste of the “Star Wars” universe.

The club is hosting Star Wars Weekend for this weekend’s series with the Orioles, running from Saturday through Monday. Available promotions include souvenir soda cups, limited time food items, bobbleheads and various merchandise. Fans can buy tickets to all three games here.

Saturday’s game will deliver Max Fried Mandalorian bobbleheads, in which he is dressed in full Mandalorian armor with Grogu floating beside him, for the first 18,000 fans arriving at Yankee Stadium. Additionally, more than 50 “Star Wars” characters will pepper the concourse to greet fans from approximately 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Three unique styles for “Star Wars” x Yankees souvenir soda cups will be available for purchase on separate days of the series. On Saturday, a cup featuring “The Mandalorian and Grogu” movie posters can be found at concession stands throughout the park. Sunday’s cups will feature an image of Grogu riding piggyback on The Mandalorian, while Monday’s design is deemed the “hero cup” with the duo both standing upright.

You can get your fill of the iconic blue milk from “Star Wars” with the Blue Milk Milkshake, a vanilla shake with whipped cream and sprinkles served in a souvenir Yankees cup. Or perhaps you’ll prefer Grogu’s Dirt Pudding Sundae, featuring ice cream, chocolate mousse, Oreo crumbs, whipped cream, gummy frogs and a blue macaron while served in a Yankees souvenir helmet cup. Finally, the team store by section 119 will have some “Star Wars” items for sale, including a lightsaber-painted mini bat and two branded T-shirts.
