Generations of Yankees legends return to Bronx on Aug. 8 for Old-Timers' Day
CHICAGO – Generations of pinstriped history will connect once again at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 8, when the club hosts its 78th Old-Timers’ Day, featuring traditional introductions followed by an alumni baseball game.
Nine Monument Park inductees have been announced as participants, including Hall of Famers Mariano Rivera and Joe Torre. Ron Guidry, Tino Martinez, Paul O’Neill, Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, Willie Randolph and Bernie Williams will also be among the stars back in uniform.
Three current YES Network analysts will attend as first-time Old-Timers, with Dellin Betances, Todd Frazier and Adam Ottavino set to participate.
The event will also feature the fathers of two current Yankees: Clay Bellinger, father of outfielder Cody Bellinger, and first-time Old-Timer David Weathers, father of pitcher Ryan Weathers.
Other notable participants include: current Yankees manager Aaron Boone, 1976 playoff hero Chris Chambliss, four-time World Series champion David Cone, 1999 ALCS MVP Orlando “El Duque” Hernandez, and 1978 playoff hero Bucky Dent.
Fan-favorites Johnny Damon, Dwight Gooden, Alfonso Soriano and Nick Swisher are also scheduled to attend.

The Yankees will further celebrate their history by including the widows of three legendary Yankees: Diana Munson, widow of Thurman Munson; Kay Murcer, widow of Bobby Murcer; and Jill Martin, widow of Billy Martin.
Gates will open at 12 p.m. ET, and guests are asked to be in their seats by 12:45 p.m. Michael Kay will perform the Old-Timers’ Day introductions, immediately followed by the alumni game.
