Team to watch
The Yankees have MLBPipeline's No. 2-ranked farm system, and with that type of talent, they are undoubtedly going to have some of the top MiLB teams, which is the case with Double-A Trenton. Not only do the Thunder boast Torres, the No. 3 prospect in all of baseball at shortstop, but they also have left-hander Sheffield and right-handers Adams and Green in the rotation. Andujar is one of the game's best third-base prospects.

New faces
The Yankees revamped their farm system at last year's Trade Deadline, but they made a few moves over the offseason as well. New York acquired a trio of right-handers over the offseason: Abreu and Guzman from the Astros and Littell from the Mariners. Abrea and Guzman were part of the Brian McCann deal, while Littell was traded for James Pazos.
On the shelf
First baseman/outfielder Austin has been one of the Yankees' best hitting prospects when healthy -- but he has had a hard time staying healthy. He missed significant time each season from 2012-15, then broke the navicular bone in his left foot when he fouled a ball off it in mid-February. Instead of competing for regular playing time in New York, Austin is on the club's 60-day disabled list.
