A's C Dustin Garneau Claimed by Chicago White Sox

The Oakland A's announced that catcher Dustin Garneau was claimed off waivers by the Chicago White Sox today.
Garneau was designated for assignment on Monday after spending the entire season at Nashville. He batted .208 with two home runs and nine RBI in 22 games with the Sounds. Garneau was claimed off waivers from Colorado last August and hit .159 with a home run and three RBI in 19 games with Oakland last year.
