A's fans can pick ticket price during Community Impact Wednesdays
OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland A's fans can pick their price for tickets during Community Impact Wednesdays, the team announced today. In an innovative new program, fans can decide how much they pay for tickets in Section 322 during every regular season home Wednesday game in 2018. All ticket proceeds from Community Impact Wednesdays will benefit the Oakland A's Community Fund.
Fans who would like to purchase tickets for Community Impact Wednesdays can visit athletics.com/impact, choose from the available games, and pick the price for their tickets. A minimum $1 donation per ticket is required.
"This program is unprecedented and we're excited to be - what we believe - the first team to create a ticket section to completely benefit charity," said Catherine Aker, vice president of Communications and Community for the A's. "We look forward to fans enjoying this unique opportunity to pay what they want to enjoy an A's game while positively impacting our community."
The Oakland A's Community Fund takes an innovative and dynamic approach to support education, promote youth sports, and provide economic opportunity in order to help make Oakland and the East Bay a more equitable and inclusive community. The club annually contributes nearly $2 million to the community. For more information, visit athletics.com/community.
