A's recall RHP Josh Lucas and RHP Emilio Pagán from Nashville

The Oakland A's recalled right-handed pitchers Josh Lucas and Emilio Pagán from Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today. The A's also placed right-handed pitcher Andrew Triggs on the 10-day disabled list with right arm nerve irritation and optioned right-handed pitcher Ryan Dull to Nashville.
Lucas joins the A's for the second time this year but pitched just once during his first stint. He was recalled April 20, tossed 3.0 scoreless innings against Boston that day and was sent back to Nashville the next day. The 27-year-old right-hander pitched five times for the Sounds following his April 21 option and had a save and a 4.50 ERA. Lucas has two saves, a 2.53 ERA and .147 opponents batting average in nine games overall with Nashville.
Pagán was on the A's Opening Day roster and posted a 2.70 ERA over his first six games. He then allowed at least one run in each of his next six appearances (9.00 ERA) and had a 5.93 ERA and .333 opponents batting average in 12 games overall before he was optioned to Nashville May 2. The 27-year-old right-hander pitched in five games for the Sounds and logged a 3.00 ERA and .208 opponents batting average. Pagán struck out 11 and did not walk a batter in 6.0 innings.
Triggs was 3-1 with a 5.23 ERA in nine starts before leaving his start last night in Toronto after 2.1 innings with his nerve injury. He has held the opposition to a .231 batting average, including .200 with runners in scoring position.
Dull began the season on the disabled list with a strained right shoulder and had a 2.25 ERA in three rehab appearances with Nashville before he was reinstated from the DL April 14. He had a 6.30 ERA and .325 opponents batting average in 12 relief appearances with Oakland.
