A Statement from the Tampa Bay Rays in Response to Hillsborough County Hotel & Lodging Association's Support of the Rays Forever Home

TAMPA, Fla.— A statement from Tampa Bay Rays Chief Executive Officer Ken Babby in response to the Hillsborough County Hotel & Lodging Association’s support of the Rays Forever Home:

“The Tampa Bay Rays are deeply grateful to the Hillsborough County Hotel & Lodging Association for its support, which is especially meaningful given the group’s longstanding role in collecting and remitting Tourist Development Tax revenues and helping tell Tampa Bay’s story as a premier destination. This project is about more than baseball, and always will be. We share HCHLA’s belief that a new Forever Home for the Rays will attract new events, drive incremental visitation and occupancy, support local jobs and business opportunities, and elevate Tampa Bay’s national and international profile.”
