ANGELS ANNOUNCE 2026 SPRING TRAINING SCHEDULE
ANAHEIM – The Angels today announced their 2026 Spring Training schedule. The Club will open Cactus League play on Saturday, February 21st against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Tempe Diablo Stadium. The Angels will play a total of 34 games throughout the duration of Spring Training, including 15 games at Tempe Diablo Stadium, two games at Las Vegas Ballpark, an exhibition home game against Italy’s World Baseball Classic team and three Freeway Series games in Southern California.
The Angels 2026 Cactus League schedule features seven weekend home games (Fri-Sun) in Tempe. On Wednesday, March 4, the Angels will host Team Italy in a WBC exhibition, which will mark the fourth time the Halos face a WBC opponent, following games in 2009 vs. South Africa, 2013 vs. Italy and 2023 vs. United States.
On March 7-8, the Angels will travel to Las Vegas for a pair of split squad games against the Athletics at Las Vegas Ballpark (home of the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators) as part of “Big League Weekend.” It will mark the Angels first visit to Las Vegas since 1996, when they also faced the A’s in a pair of Spring Training games at Cashman Field. Overall, the Angels will have four split squad days over the course of Spring Training, including the two days with games in Las Vegas.
The third annual exhibition Spring Breakout Game will take place on Thursday, March 19 with Angels prospects hosting a team of Cleveland Guardians prospects at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
Cactus League play in Arizona is scheduled to conclude on March 20 with a game against the Chicago White Sox at Tempe Diablo Stadium. The Angels will return to Southern California and open the annual exhibition Freeway Series against the Dodgers on March 22 at Angel Stadium. The Spring schedule wraps up with a pair of games at Dodger Stadium (March 23-24), before the Angels travel to Houston to begin the regular season on March 26 against the Astros at Daikin Park.
